Refunds

Delivery

Guides are delivered digitally by download link immediately after payment confirmation, with a backup copy sent to the purchase email. If delivery fails on our side for more than 48 hours, the purchase is refunded automatically — see the refund policy. Because delivery is digital, there are no shipping times, carriers, or customs considerations.

Taxes

Prices are displayed exclusive of taxes, which are calculated at checkout where applicable: Washington State obligations for the US entity, and Japanese consumption tax where required for Japan-side sales. The checkout total is the final amount; no fees appear after payment.

The company began in timber construction publishing; the climate observatory grew out of research into how traditional buildings buffer local climate — the same line of inquiry that produced our interest in Kawagoe's kura storehouses. The name stayed; the thermometers followed. The Washington registration, the Seattle address, and the Shibuya office on this page are all current and verifiable, and we list them in full precisely because an unfamiliar name deserves more disclosure, not less.

A site that asks readers to trust its thermometers should not be mysterious about its own identity.
