Corrections

Every substantive error we've found or had flagged, dated, with the original figure left visible. An observation project keeps its ledger open.

Seasonal Matrix page. The November text previously said Boso's November mean exceeds Saitama's by “2°C.” The 1991–2020 normals support 1.5°C. Original: 2°C. Corrected: 1.5°C. Found in internal review against the normal-period tables.

Saitama Plains page. Frost-day count for the plains was originally published as “25–30/year.” Recomputed against the 1991–2020 normals from the Saitama observatory and cooperative records: 28–35/year. Original: 25–30. Corrected: 28–35.

Zone map. The Yokohama marker label was initially placed inside the Tama River's label arc, causing overlap at small viewports. Cartographic error, not data error; repositioned. No figures affected.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] with the page name and the figure in question. Cite your source — a JMA table, an official report, an instrument record. Reader-flagged corrections are reviewed against primary sources before entry here, and the reader is credited unless they prefer otherwise. Corrections to purchased guides trigger the automatic-refund offer described in the refund policy.

We'd rather this page be long than short. A corrections log with entries is evidence of a working review process; an empty one is evidence only of an unexamined archive.
